Practice Description

Mr. Brod's practice focuses on corporate finance transactions and securities law matters, including initial public offerings in the U.S. and elsewhere for domestic and foreign issuers, public and private debt and equity financings for established companies, offerings for registered investment companies and financings integrally related to corporate restructurings. His work in the corporate finance and securities area has involved the counselling and representation of corporate issuers, investment banks and investors. A particular focus of Mr. Brod's recent work has been the representation of both Canadian issuers and U.S. and Canadian dealers in connection with the extension of Canadian offerings to the U.S. capital markets, including pursuant to the U.S.-Canadian Multijurisdictional Disclosure System.
