Practice Description
| Mr. Chaikof practises in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on cable corporate finance and securities law matters. Mr. Chaikof's comprehensive knowledge of the Canada and U.S. capital markets results from his participation in many high profile corporate financing transactions during the past decade. He has led take over bids, initial public offerings and domestic as well as cross-border public and private financings. He regularly acts for Canadian issuers including Rogers Communications, Rogers Cablesystems, Rogers Wireless, Fairfax Financial, Leitch Technology, TLC The Laser Eye Center and Lindsey Morden. He has advised private and public companies in connection with corporate restructurings, corporate governance, shareholder and corporate disputes, and regulatory compliance matters. David is a director of Leitch Technology (a TSE 300 company) as well as numerous non-profit organizations. |
