Practice Description
As her firm's partner in charge of legal research and opinions, Ms. Grottenthaler's practice covers a wide range of interests in the insolvency, corporate and corporate finance areas. She specializes in the field of derivatives, securities lending and repo transactions. She has advised the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc., as well as numerous other domestic and international financial institutions, corporations and associations, on various issues ranging from opinions relating to netting, collateralization and capacity to the drafting of derivatives documentation. She is co-author of The Law of Financial Derivatives in Canada (Carswell, 1999). |
