Practice Description

Mr. Keefe's practice encompasses a wide range of fields. His experience in commercial litigation and arbitration includes such matters as real estate, partnership and shareholder disputes, both as arbitrator and as counsel. He has provided counsel in many matters involving civil and criminal fraud, including employee theft of confidential information and trade secrets, and professional liability. His administrative law experience extends to acting for the Workers' Compensation Board on matters relating to employer assessments, and he recently appeared in the Ontario Court of Appeal on a test case involving the constitutional jurisdiction of the Board. He has also acted in cases involving Charter challenges and provided advice on the constitutional validity of legislation.
