Practice Description
The primary emphasis of Ms. Koval's practice is on corporate finance, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, managed assets, derivatives and financial institutions. She regularly acts for issuers and investment dealers in structuring acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations, networking arrangements and international and domestic public and private financings. She has participated in a significant number of domestic and cross-border public take-over bids, negotiated acquisitions and proxy contests. In addition, Ms. Koval acted as counsel for a Task Force, and subsequently for the Government of Ontario, in the development of legislation which gave rule-making authority to the Ontario Securities Commission. |
