Practice Description
| Mr. Morritt maintains a broadly-based litigation practice which includes dispute resolution utilizing the judicial system and a variety of ADR techniques and procedures, as well as risk management, particularly in the areas of professional liability (for accounting firms, individuals and firms in the securities industry and other professionals) and product liability. He has extensive experience in the resolution of shareholder and corporate disputes; contract, commercial and constitutional issues; professional liability claims and discipline proceedings; product liability and defamation proceedings; and regulatory and quasi-criminal charges. He has acted as counsel in trials, applications and appeals at all levels of the Ontario and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and in arbitrations and mediations. |
