Practice Description

Ms. Field-Marsham's practice focuses on general commercial and corporate litigation, professional negligence, securities litigation, franchise disputes, misleading advertising, products liability, copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property matters, and shareholder and partner disputes. She acts for a wide range of corporations and partnerships. Her litigation practice includes both arbitrations and injunctions, trials and appeals in the Ontario and Federal Courts and the Supreme Court of Canada in such matters as trade mark infringement claims, grey-marketing, and passing-off. Ms. Field-Marsham has acted as counsel in many of the landmark cases in the intellectual property field in Canada and has successfully prosecuted and defended misleading advertising claims under the Competition Act and Trade-Marks Act.
