Practice Description
Mr. Grout's practice encompasses bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, commercial litigation, statutory priorities involving proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, the Winding Up Act, and the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) and other relevant statutes. He has been involved in the insolvency proceedings of A&A Records, Olympia & York Developments Limited, Canary Wharf, Canadian Airlines and the Confederation Life Insurance Company, among many others. His practice is primarily focused upon secured lending transactions, the restructuring of insolvent corporations and litigation arising therefrom. |
