Practice Description
Mr. LaBarge acquired a broad range of practical experience in diversified areas of the law prior to specializing in matters of taxation and commercial law. He acts in proceedings before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and its predecessors on taxation, anti-dumping, tariff classification, federal sales tax and customs appeals. As well, he deals with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency on an ongoing basis. Mr. LaBarge is a member of the roster of panelists appointed by the Government of Canada in respect of the dispute resolution process provided under the North American Free Trade Agreement. |
