Practice Description

Mr. Mersey has been practising exclusively in civil litigation since 1974, primarily on the insurance defence side. He has defended claims for disability and life carriers, professional liability carriers, motor vehicle carriers, C.G.L carriers, fire and property carriers, aviation carriers, and environmental risk carriers such as in asbestos litigation. Mr. Mersey has appeared as counsel in all courts including the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
