Practice Description

Mr. Williamson is a member of the Price Waterhouse Canada Tax Leadership Group and of the Calgary Management Committee. He leads the Price Waterhouse Canada Specialty Group for Corporate Reorganizations and Restructurings. In that capacity, he deals with income tax matters exclusively, particularly in corporate reorganizations and restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and international operations. He has had extensive experience in dealing with Revenue Canada Rulings Directorate and the Department of Finance. Mr. Williamson has been an expert witness on taxation before the Canadian Transportation Commission (now the Nation Transportation Agency of Canada) as well as before the Supreme Court of Ontario.
